Techniques: Two handed fair isle, some decorative stitches in ear flaps and two color crochet work on trim.
Comments: I never could get the decreases to work the way the pattern was written. I finally worked backwards and tried to minic the matching decreases in each 1/4 of the hat. Other than that problem, it was an easy knit.
Cost: 6 skeins of wool. at $2.29 - used less than half for first hat
